Then, I realized that I still have my old Nokia n73 with me. The year 2011 is already nearing its end and I think its so funny that I still own a working Nokia n73. Talk about ancient, right? Since I can’t just toss this in the trash, I think I might give this mobile phone recycling a shot. Besides, I don’t use this phone anymore anyway, so what is there to lose? Yes, it still works, its on right now. I think its only real problem is a defective battery. Anyway, I think I’ll send this one to get recycled. If they pay me, good; if not, I don’t really care so long as it gets recycled.

The parish needs a printer, since there are a lot of records to be printed every day. Baptismal and confirmation information and certificates are needed for application of passports, wedding requirements and other government licenses. Every day, a number or an estimate of 100 certificates is being printed. Last year, my husband and I applied for a marriage license and we were required to get both baptismal and confirmation certificates to be passed for our civil marriage. When we got my requirements, we paid higher than expected. We asked why it is more expensive than other parishes? The secretary answered that the certificate is now computerized and the cost of the inkjet printer must compensate for the income. However, last week, I helped my sister to get a baptismal record for his son in our parish and found out that they decreasde their price. It was explained that using the new printer, it saved as much as 70% on ink cost.
